Your blog looks great. Any way you can advertise your work is a good
idea. Keep the blog going and keep learning the craft. Everyone hits
bumps in the road in this business, those who stick with it, and keep
learning, find satisfaction. If everyone tells you the same thing
then you may want to look at what they are saying. Or form your own
critique group with other writers.
